 Ved Movie Story :-

"Ved Its (meaning Madness) is a love story Movie from 2022 in the Marathi language of India. It's directed by Riteish Deshmukh, who's trying out directing for the first time. The movie is made by Genelia D'Souza, who's also acting in it alongside Riteish and Jiya Shankar, who's making her debut in Marathi films. Ashok Saraf is playing a supporting role.

They took inspiration from a Telugu movie called Majili and remade it into Ved.

Ved hit the theaters on December 30, 2022. Critics liked the acting, especially by Riteish and Genelia, the camera work, the music, and the background sounds. Genelia Deshmukh even won an award for being the Best Popular Actress at Zee Gaurav Awards 2023. But not everyone liked how the story was told and found it slow.

The movie made a lot of money, around ₹75 crores (that's about US$9.4 million). That made it the highest-earning Marathi film in 2022 and the fourth highest-earning Marathi film ever. It even earned more than Riteish Deshmukh's earlier film, Lai Bhaari, from 2014."

"Return in December 2021, the exciting news came Here  that Riteish Deshmukh was stepping in to the director's chair for the 1st time. Genelia Deshmukh was set to produce the film under Mumbai Film Company's banner, marking her entry into Marathi cinema. Adding to the debut vibes, Jiya Shankar was also making her first appearance in Marathi films, thanks to Rohan Mapushkar's approach.

Fast forward to February 2, 2022, when Genelia Deshmukh gave us a sneak peek from the film sets through a video she shared. The anticipation kept building, and on November 24, 2022, the teaser of Ved hit YouTube.

Finally, the big day arrived on December 30, 2022, when Ved made its way to theaters, marking the culmination of the hard work and excitement that started back in 2021."

On its opening day, it brought in ₹2.5 crore net and ₹3.5 crores gross. The excitement continued over the weekend, with the film raking in ₹10 crore, securing the fourth-highest opening weekend collection for a Marathi film to date.

As the days rolled on, Ved's success soared. In the first week alone, it earned a cool ₹20.67 crore. By the end of the second week, the numbers climbed to ₹40.85 crore in India. The film hit the ₹50 crore mark within 20 days of its release, and by the fourth week, it had amassed ₹57 crore.

Ved didn't stop there; in its fifth week, it reached ₹58.11 crore net and ₹70.90 crore gross. As it continued its cinematic journey, the film crossed ₹60.67 crore in India and an impressive ₹74 crore worldwide in its fifty-day run. The success story continued, reaching ₹75 crore in 75 days.

And as of March 14, 2023, Ved has earned a whopping ₹75 crore worldwide, marking its triumphant journey at the box office."
