Ek Tha Tiger Development :-

When Kabir Khan was chosen to direct an action-packed film, the script was initially without a title. He initially approached Shah Rukh Khan with the screenplay, but due to scheduling clashes with "Don 2" (2011) and "Jab Tak Hai Jaan" (2012), Shah Rukh Khan couldn't take on the role. This led to ongoing changes in the screenplay, even as late as February 2012, despite it being finalized in November 2010.

In May 2011, the news broke that Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif would be the leading stars in a film named "Ek Tha Tiger." This marked Salman Khan's first collaboration with Yash Raj Films and the fourth film together for the duo, following "Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya?" (2005), "Partner" (2007), and "Yuvvraaj" (2008). To kickstart the filming process, Salman Khan had to delay the progress of another project named "Sher Khan," which was still in the planning stages with his brother, Sohail Khan. Salman Khan was reportedly paid ₹32 crore (US$5.99 million) for his role in the film.

Katrina Kaif, who had only appeared in one action film before, "Race" (2008), took on the challenge of performing her own stunts in "Ek Tha Tiger." This added a unique touch to her role in the action-packed narrative.

Ek Tha Tiger Filming :-

The making of the movie faced quite a few hiccups. First off, there were plans to start filming in July 2011, but Yash Raj Films revealed a delay due to budgeting worries. Finally, in August 2011, the cameras started rolling in Dublin. However, the shoot hit a snag when Salman Khan had to undergo surgery for trigeminal neuralgia in the United States. Adding to the drama, some crew members in Ireland protested against filming conditions and the lack of payment, causing a temporary halt to the production. So, even though the movie eventually came together, its journey to the screen was a bit of a rollercoaster ride.
